Usage Status of Methods that Enhance Reflective Thinking in Primary Level Programs (Elazığ City Example)

Abstract

This study has been conducted to detect teachers’ use of methods that enhance reflective thinking in primary level programs. In this descriptive study, survey method was employed. Population of study is classroom teachers of 158 primary schools located in Elazığ while sample of study is randomly chosen classroom teachers of 50 primary schools in city center of Elazığ. Analysis of results has shown that teachers use asking questions method most frequently whereas they employ seminar studies least frequently.
